Daybreak Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Daybreak. As one of our valued customers, we want you to feel completely confident in every purchase you make with us. Please review our Return Policy below. It covers everything you need to know about returning both custom-made devices and non-custom products.

The Daybreak Sleep System

The following return and refund conditions apply for items included with your Daybreak Sleep System purchase:

Eligibility:
  • At-Home Impression Kit: As part of your purchase of the Daybreak Sleep System, you will receive a dental impression kit to be completed at home as part of the customization process for your Daybreak Device. These item(s) must be unused, unopened and in original packaging in order to be eligible for return of the Daybreak Sleep System.
    • Intraoral Scans: On rare occasions, customers may request to submit an intraoral scan to Daybreak in lieu of completing the at-home dental impression kit. In these cases, no refunds are offered on the Daybreak Sleep System upon submission of these scans to Daybreak since manufacturing of the custom-fit device starts immediately upon receipt of your dental records.
    • 30-Day Limit: Return request must be made within thirty (30) days from the original purchase date of the Daybreak Sleep System. We are unable to offer refunds after 30 days, regardless of whether impressions or intraoral scans have been taken.
  • The Daybreak Device: The Daybreak Device is custom-made to precisely fit each individual's unique dental anatomy. No refunds are offered on the Daybreak Device outside of the Patient Care Guarantee because it is a prescription medical device that is specifically designed for you and cannot be repurposed or resold.
  • Clinical Disqualification: If our affiliated Clinical Team determines you are not a qualified fit for our device, you will automatically receive a full refund for the amount you paid for the Daybreak Sleep System (and Essentials Bundle, if applicable).

Please note that this Return Policy is separate from our Patient Care Guarantee. The Patient Care Guarantee provides specific refund conditions related to the effectiveness of the Daybreak Device in treating obstructive sleep apnea, and it has its own set of terms and restrictions.

Non-Custom Products

For items that are not custom-made (such as the At-Home Sleep Test and Ultrasonic Cleaner), we accept returns under the following conditions:

Eligibility:
  • Unused: Item(s) must be unused, unopened and in original packaging.
  • 30-Day Limit: Return request must be made within thirty (30) days from the original purchase date.

Refund Process:

  • For items that are eligible for a refund based on the Return Policy terms herein, contact support@thedaybreak.com to initiate a return request within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.
  • You will be responsible for return shipping (unless the eligible return is for a non-custom product that is defective, as determined by Daybreak).
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s) and confirm each item’s eligibility for a refund under this Return Policy, a refund will be processed to your original payment method, typically within 10-14 business days. If you used a financing provider option made available on the Daybreak website for the Daybreak Sleep System purchase, we will submit a request to such provider for the cancelation of your financing agreement. Please note that all cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions applicable to such financing agreement between you and the applicable financing provider.
